Please save the date of Sun., Feb. 24, 4 pm in your calendars. This will be the day of our AGM. Refreshments and food provided. Please plan to attend so we meet quorum to approve any motions and to elect our new board members. Packages will be sent out 20 days prior.

You must be a 2019 member to attend.

Dear CFCA 2019 Members,

Hyvää uutta vuotta! Happy New Year!

Language Lessons:

Finnish language classes will start on Monday, January 14th, 2019.

They are held at the Scandinavian Centre (739 20 Ave NW, Calgary) in the Saga Room, located in the basement.

Classes begin at 6:30 pm and end at 9:30 pm.  Beginners come in first and the more advanced students at 8 pm. You are welcome to stay for as long as you wish, even the whole three hours.

There will be 10 lessons for the Winter 2018 session. There is no fee for these lessons, but you will need to purchase a textbook (cost TBD).

Class attendees must be Calgary Finlandia Cultural Association (CFCA) members.  Payment for membership can be done at the first lesson.

Little Finns:

The Little Finns group will start up again in Winter/Spring 2019.
