Dr. Peuramäki-Brown: Lives in Tiny Suitcases – April 6 at 6:30 pm

We welcome you to join us for a special presentation by archaeologist (& past CFCA President, Secretary) Dr. Meaghan Peuramäki-Brown about Lives in Tiny Suitcases. Dr. Peuramäki-Brown will share her passion project, retracing the footsteps of her Finnish settler great-grandparents in the Robinson-Superior Treaty territory.

On Sunday Feb 26th, taking place at our wonderful Scandinavian Centre will be our Annual General Meeting where you can learn more about us, be part of our community, and have your say for the board!

2022 Christmas Bazaar!

The Annual Scandinavian Cultural Society Christmas Bazaar and Craft Sale is returning on Saturday November 13 from 2022 from 10:30am- 3:00pm at the Scandinavian Centre at 739 20th Street NW. Admission is $1.00 (please bring a loonie to speed up the entry process). Join for a wide variety of handmade Scandinavian crafts, baking, woodworking, knitting, jewelry, painting, pottery, and more!
