Learn Finnish with CFCA Online

MEMBERSHIP INFORMATION
Online Finnish language classes will restart in September 2026! We have three levels available: Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced. Returning students are encouraged to register. Beginner and intermediate classes take place on THURSDAY evenings, and advanced classes on MONDAY evenings for approximately 8-10 weeks from September 2026 to June 2027.
All classes are held online via Zoom, Teams or Google Meet. Participants should have a working microphone and camera as there are interactive conversations and activities.
Lessons are FREE with an active CFCA membership. You will need a textbook (Suomen Mestari 1 or Suomen Mestari 2), available through the CFCA (approximately $100 CAD) while supplies last. Those requiring a textbook will be charged a small fee plus shipping. Please connect with your Instructor before purchasing a textbook.

Beginner
BEGINS: Thursday, 7:00 – 8:00 pm MDT
This series consists of three sessions that build on one another. Session 1 covers chapters 1-3, session 2 covers chapters 4-6, and session 3 covers chapters 7-9 from Suomen Mestari 1.
