MEMBERSHIP INFORMATION

CFCA Membership

Online Finnish language classes will restart in September 2026! We have three levels available: Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced. Returning students are encouraged to register.

• Beginner and Intermediate classes take place on THURSDAY evenings, and advanced classes on MONDAY evenings for approximately 8-10 weeks. The entire language program runs from September 2026 to June 2027 with short breaks in between each session.
• Each session is a continuation of the session prior therefore absolute beginners are encouraged to register in September only.
• All classes are held online via Zoom, Teams or Google Meet. Participants should have a working microphone and camera as there are interactive conversations and activities.
• Lessons are FREE with an active CFCA membership.
• You will need a textbook (Suomen Mestari 1 or Suomen Mestari 2) which may be purchased through CFCA (approximately $45 CAD + shipping) while supplies, last on a first come, first serve basis. Please connect with your Instructor before purchasing a textbook or send us an email for links where you can purchase your own textbook from the publisher or online book stores.
